About the Primal Hatch Megalodon Interactive Hatching Egg Shark Toy
Primal Hatch Megalodon is an interactive shark toy from Spin Master that hatches from a giant egg. You place the egg in the included hatch tank and add water. The water fizzes and turns red while the Megalodon wakes up inside, roaring with its eyes glowing through the shell, and then the 16-inch-long shark bursts out of the egg.
After hatching, the Megalodon has light-up eyes and motorized chomping jaws. Spin Master says it has 89 sounds and reactions, and launch coverage lists three play modes: Savage Strike, Shark Shield and Raging Roar. A hands-on preview also describes a touch-reactive scar on its head and underwater shark sounds when it is squeezed.
Unlike many hatching toys, this one is designed to hatch again. A spring system inside lets you compress the shark back into the egg, and the tank and egg are made to be rinsed, dried and reset for another hatch.
