The Citizen Tsuyosa 60 (reference NK0020-55E) is a 40mm automatic watch with a stainless steel case that flows into an integrated five-link, jubilee-style bracelet. It builds on the original Tsuyosa, which Citizen introduced in 2022, with a longer-running movement, a textured dial and a new bracelet.
The black dial has a finely machined, stamped pattern with a sunray finish, so it shifts from deep black to a soft shimmer as the light moves across it. The applied hour markers and hands carry luminous material for reading in the dark. The date sits at 3 o'clock under a magnifier built into the sapphire crystal, which has an anti-reflective coating.
Inside is Citizen's in-house Caliber 8310 automatic movement. It winds itself as you wear it, can also be wound by hand, and stops the seconds hand while you set the time. Its power reserve is about 60 hours, up from about 40 hours in the earlier Tsuyosa's Caliber 8210. A see-through caseback shows the movement's silver-toned plates, openworked rotor and blue screws.
The case is about 11.7mm thick, with brushed surfaces, polished accents and a crown set at 4 o'clock. The bracelet pairs brushed outer links with polished center links and closes with a hidden deployant clasp with push buttons. Water resistance is 50 meters (5 bar), and Citizen rates it for swimming in still water. It is an easy everyday watch that also dresses up for an evening out.
