The Hamilton Khaki Field Auto (reference H70555533) is a 42mm automatic field watch inspired by the watches Hamilton made for soldiers. A black dial with bold white Arabic numerals and a brown leather strap give it a rugged, easy-to-read look that works as well in the city as it does outdoors.
Inside is Hamilton's H-10 automatic movement with up to 80 hours of power reserve, so it keeps running through a weekend off the wrist. Its Nivachron balance spring is designed to reduce the effects of magnetism, temperature changes and shocks on timekeeping, and the open caseback lets you see the movement at work.
The stainless steel case measures 42mm across and about 11mm thick, with 22mm lugs and a 53mm lug-to-lug length. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, Super-LumiNova helps you read the time in low light, and a date window adds everyday convenience. Water resistance is 100 meters (10 bar).
The brown cow leather strap closes with a classic pin buckle. Hamilton notes that this model was featured in The Avengers (2012), worn by Steve Rogers.
